About

Published by Mark Antony

The life and times of an semi professional guitarist. Does the term “semi professional” mean one can ALMOST play I sometimes wonder…After all, I’ve had quite a few years now playing, listening, and most of all, appreciating, the guitar. All artist videos are uploaded by permission. This site is about just that; An appreciation of the instrument, and other music, and hobbies I take part in.

Enjoy your stay :)

Mark, serializing your father’s novel is a great idea. For me, posting my fiction meant going from no readers to many a day (not that many but a whole lot more than none.) Readers is half of why I write and I faced terrible blocks at every traditional stage, which even the gatekeepers admitted had little to do with my writing’s quality. Hurray for the internet.

I don’t know if you’d be interested but you observation that serial fiction reminded you of work art music has prompted me to steer you over to newcritics.com. (I have a widget up on my blog but I think http://newcritics.com should take you there.)

Recently I posted a review of “This is Your Brain on Music,” The Science of a Human Obsession. The book is fascinating, if not especially well written. He does warn readers who are musicians when they’d be better off skipping a few chapters, though.

Great making your acqaintence, Kathleen Maher

    Hi Mark!

    How are you doing lately?

I just want to inform you that “A2Z Guitar” has ceased to function as a blog. It now works as a forum and the domain is the same as previously: http://a2zguitar.com

It would be nice to have your presence at the forum. It is still starting but I hope it soon grows with the help of devoted people like you.

    Take care :)

I noticed in the Wikipedia article on Julian Bream that the BBC did a video of him in 1976 called A Life in the Country. Do you know anything about that, are copies available online, or for sale, etc?

I’ve recently been checking out your website and I think you’ve got some really quality stuff on there, I own a similiar music website and was wondering if you would like to be involved in a series of blogroll exchanges I am conducting this summer. By placing each other on our blogroll lists we will boost traffic to our sites, it only takes a fews seconds. Please contact me if you are interested.

    Kind regards

    Tom
